James and Zara’s Humanist Wedding – The Old Course Hotel

James and Zara, and their families, flew all the way from Australia to have their humanist wedding at the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews. Even though the weather didn’t want to play nice, we had a great time and didn’t let the rain stop us going out and about in St Andrews to grab a few portrait shots for them.

Unlike the rest of the UK, Humanist weddings in Scotland are fully legal and no other ceremony is required either before or after your humanist wedding. One of the benefits of a Humanist wedding is that you can get married where ever you like, be that on a beach, in the forest or in your back garden, as long as you have a registered Humanist celebrant your wedding is legal.

James and Zara’s was a small intimate wedding at the Old Course Hotel, with just a few guests but a stunning location and a fantastic couple. Congratulations James and Zara!

  • Rob Dunning - To get such natural pictures from such an intimate wedding takes a lot of skill and experience. Well done Stuart, fantastic pictures that I’m sure James & Zara will cherish for many years.

  • John Johnston - Completely agree with Rob, fantastic captures pal, they look so happy in every one of them photos.
