So that’s 2013 over and what a great year it was here at Reids Photography, I am always honoured to be able to document so many great Scottish weddings, I hope that the moments that I capture are remembered and enjoyed for years to come.
This year has seen me at many different venues photographing a wide variety of weddings, from the small secret intimate wedding, (with only 2 guests), to the larger more elaborate weddings. I’ve had ceilidh’s, tears (of joy), blended Scottish and North American cultures and even seen a traditional Scottish Quaich Ceremony.
I’ve enjoyed playing a small part in them all, each with its own unique character and along the way I’ve met some fantastic people, a few things that each wedding did have though was a brilliant bride and groom, an abundance of laughter, love and a whole lot of fun.
Looking back through my weddings from 2013 I’ve selected a few of my favourites from the weddings I’ve covered, with so many great Scottish weddings and 1000’s of images to choose from this was not an easy task, but I’ve managed to narrow it down to a 100 or so images. My criteria for selection was purely based on my personal favourites, images that stood out for me for being romantic, funny, emotive or just simply because I liked them but I’ve featured images from all the weddings I’ve covered in 2013.
So I’m sorry that this post is a little image heavy, but without further ado, here is my review of 2013 in pictures.
Wishing you all a very best of health and happiness for 2014, happy new year!
