A few weeks ago I was off to the Dean Park Hotel in Kirkcaldy for the wedding of another of my Transatlantic couples, Andrew and Jessica. Having only spoken via email we had met up on the Wednesday before their wedding to squeeze in a pre-wedding session and discuss their wedding over a coffee.
With no bridal prep to shoot I met up with Andrew and his best man at the bar, Andrew is originally from Kirkcaldy but now lives and works out in the United States and with so many guests making the trip over to Scotland this wedding still managed to maintain a traditional Scottish feel with pipers, kilts, a quaich wedding tradition and, of course, ceilidh dancing.
Andrew and Jessica also hired the Photo Booth for their evening reception and it was a huge hit with all the wedding guests.
A lovely small wedding, a brilliant couple with plenty of fun, laughs and smiles all round, and did I mention the sweetie table that was situated right next to the photo booth at the reception, they obviously knew me well!
Below is a selection of photographs from their special day.
