Helen and Tom’s St Salvator’s Chapel Wedding, St Andrews

The August bank holiday weekend saw me photograph Tom and Helen’s St Salvator’s Chapel wedding with the reception being held just a short walk across the quad in Lower and Upper College Halls, part of the University of St Andrews.

For this wedding I was assisted by Matt Fryer of Matt Fryer Photography who kindly agreed to come up from North Devon to be my 2nd photographer for the day, the option of a second photographer is an option that I offer to all my couples and allows for a more comprehensive coverage of your wedding day.

An early 12.30 service saw us being lucky with the weather and mostly missing the forecast rain, so much that we managed a short trip down to the West Sands for a few portraits on the beach with Helen and Tom.

St Salvator’s Chapel is a stunning 600 year old church in St Andrews, it’s unique in the St Andrews area being the only church around with pews that run lengthwise as opposed to across the church. The day culminated in a great ceilidh courtesy of Billy Anderson and his band, something that the guest certainly enjoyed!

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Millward!

  • greg thurtle - Lovely Wedding Stuart – love the grooms kung-fu, silly antics! priceless!

  • Phil Nunez - Lovely images, all of them, like the mono ones in the church, and agree with Greg the groom fooling about on the grass, priceless!
