Last week I was in Woolacombe, North Devon at a gathering of like minded photographers organised by a good friend Matt Fryer. We got together to share our creative ideas and knowledge along with getting our hands on some different kit.

Pike River Calendar

A few months ago I got involved with a lovely group of ladies who had an idea for a charity calendar to help raise money for the Pike River Recovery Fund.

This is a fund set up by the families of the 29 men who lost their lives in the mine disaster in November 2010 to raise money to pay for the recovery of the bodies of the brave miners.

Over the past few months we have been feverously working on the project and now it is finished. The Pike River Calendar Girls 2012 Calendar is now available to purchase online and in various places in St Andrews.

Thanks to all those who helped out with the project and a special thanks to all the girls for daring to bare, you should all be proud of your achievment.

Michelle and Stuart – Old Course Hotel, St Andrews

Michelle and Stuart were blessed with one of the hottest days of the year in St Andrews for their wedding in July, A brilliant couple, an excellent location, a beautiful bride and a throughly enjoyable day.

The ceremony and reception were both at the wonderful 5 star Old Course Hotel.

Alison & Ross – Holy Trinity Church – Old Course Hotel, St Andrews

What a cracking day I had at the wedding of Alison and Ross. We were blessed with some fine sunny weather and both bride and groom were excellent sports thoughout the day.

They were married at Holy Trinity Church in St Andrews, a beautiful church right in the center of the town. The reception was at the wonderful 5 star Old Course Hotel.

Everything ran smoothly on the day, we managed to stop off at some great locations between the church and the hotel, plus outside after dark to get some great shots, including a special shot of the swilcan bridge, where the couple previously got engaged.
